What is your Device Status?

Written by support
August 15, 2020

The device status tells you how a device is performing and whether its most recent reading is normal or is critical. There are two status states:

  • Stable/Normal Status
  • Critical Status

Stable/Normal Status

The Normal Status means that the device readings are stable. This means that;

  • the most recent temperature reading is within the preset temperature limits
  • the most recent humidity reading is within the preset humidity limit
  • the device has been continuously reading steadily depending on your time interval settings
  • the device battery is not low or flat

This status is indicated by a green circle on My Devices and a green border on Live Maps

Critical Status

The Critical Status means that one or more of the device readings is abnormal and thus your item or environment may be in potential danger. That is;

  • the most recent temperature reading is outside the preset temperature limits
  • the most recent humidity reading is outside the preset humidity limit
  • the device is not read any data despite the time interval setting
  • the device battery is low or flat

This status is indicated by a red circle on My Devices page and a red background on Live Maps.
