What are Humidity Limits?

Written by support
August 15, 2020

Humidity Limits are acceptable or preferred humidity ranges that sensitive items or critical environments must maintain. Humidity limits consist of the Minimum Humidity and the Maximum Humidity.

Minimum Humidity

The minimum humidity is the lowest relative humidity range an item or environment should maintain.

For example, the standard minimum storage humidity for server rooms and data centres is 40%.

Maximum Humidity

The maximum humidity is the highest relative humidity range an item should maintain.

For example, the standard maximum storage humidity for server rooms and data centres is 60%.
